Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)


1. What appears on my Liquid Telecom bill?
Your Liquid bill will state your total monthly charges, a fully itemised list of all your calls, your account number and Customer Care contact details.

2. When does my bill arrive?
You will receive your bill on the 1st week of every month.How and when do I pay?All Liquid customers can pay by registered debit/credit card via their account.

3. Can I see my bill online?
Yes. Go to Log In and enter your account number and password to see your itemised calls and the payments that you've made.

4. How far back can I see my bills online?
Online you can see your call history for the past 90 days.

5. How do I report a fault?
If you have a problem, please call our Customer Care team on T: 0845 241 4252 between 9am and 9pm any time during the week.

6. How do I check my balance?
Dial any one of the Liquid Access Numbers as if you were about to make a call. Once you hear the voice prompt "please enter the number you wish to dial", dial *66 to hear your balance.

7. What information can I view in my online account?
You can view your list of calls, call charges, account balance and Liquid Telecom's latest rates.

8. When I dial my account and PIN, it keeps saying invalid PIN?
You may not be phoning from a touch-tone phone. Put down the phone and then redial, but start by dialling the * button first. Once you have dialled the * button your telephone will remain touch-tone for the duration of the call.

9. Can my account be accessed from payphones?
You can use the Freephone access number T: 0808 178 4200 to make telephone calls from any touch-tone telephone in the UK. Using the Freephone number on a payphone will incur an extra charge (see rates for current charges).

10. Am I able to use my Liquid account when I am abroad?
Yes you will be able to access your account from most destinations worldwide. Discuss your options with one of our Consultants or click here to see our list of Global Access Numbers.

11. I do not own a credit card, am I still able to open a Liquid account?
Yes you can use a UK debit card.

12. Is there a minimum amount I must open an account with?
Yes. The minimum amount that you can open an account with is £10.

13. Dialling the account number and PIN can be time consuming, is there a quicker method of making a call?
Yes it is called Caller Line Identification [CLI]. By registering your allocated phone number/s with Liquid you simply dial the access number and we will connect you to our network without you having to enter your account number and PIN.

14. If I start running out of money whilst on a call, will there be any warning?
Yes there will be 2 voice prompt warnings before you finally run out of credit. If your balance reaches zero whilst you are on a call, you will automatically be connected to Customer Care to top-up your account.

15. Are there any low user surcharges?
No. There are no low user surcharges.

16. Do calls made from UK mobiles attract a surcharge?
Mobile networks may charge for 0808 calls. Please contact your mobile network for further details on mobile access.

17. When using my mobile phone do I press the 'send' key after dialling the destination?
No. By pressing 'send' after the destination your call will be sent through the mobile network. Simply wait and Liquid will connect you to your destination.
